Trinity Church’s indoor eleven-circuit labyrinth, modeled after the Labyrinth at Chartres Cathedral in France, was originally laid in rough format in 2001 for a District Episcopal Women’s Retreat. Following, it was used during Renaissance Festivals until in 2007 it was opened to the public as the lovely candlelit lavender and cream “Inner Peace Labyrinth” it is today. Over time relationships were forged with other labyrinth sites, resulting eventually in the Labyrinths of Chemung County partnership. The labyrinth is located in the lower level of the Parish Building and may be accessed from the W. First Street parking area. All are welcome.
The Labyrinth at Lourdes

Our labyrinth was a labor of love constructed by the Rustici family with monies collected from Our Lady of Lourdes Parish. It is an eleven-circuit stone and grass labyrinth patterned after the one in Chartres Cathedral in France. It is located next to Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 1100 West Church Street in Elmira, NY. Because of its outdoor location, it is open all year round, weather permitting. Come as you are, whenever you can, to walk and meditate! All are welcome.
The Labyrinth at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church

Our Saviour's labyrinth is located across from the south end of the building, and in the center between two perennial gardens. It is a Classical Seven Circuit Labyrinth. Entry to the labyrinth is through a wooden garden archway, and the path is walked on grass, between rows of bricks. This labyrinth is open to the public, and may be walked at any time. Parking is available very near the entrance to the labyrinth.

Each year during Holy Week a portable Prayer Labyrinth is laid for prayer and meditation in Hoffman Great Room. In conjunction, a Prayer Vigil begins at 8 p.m. on Maundy Thursday and extends through 3 p.m. on Good Friday. All are welcome.
